McDonald Architecture and Design was founded by Derek McDonald in 2013 following 10 years at one of Scotland’s leading architectural firms where he worked on a range of award winning buildings in the Residential, Commercial and Performing Arts sectors.
Operating in the Edinburgh Area, McDonald Architecture & Design has developed a portfolio of high quality projects across Scotland working on contemporary bespoke houses, residential conversions, listed buildings and hospitality projects.
Derek is also a Tutor at Edinburgh University’s School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (ESALA) And (ECA) School of Design. He has also previously taught at Cardiff University and Scott Sutherland School of Architecture, Aberdeen.
